Kowhai Manawatu has been proudly owned and operated by Fix It Roofing Ltd, T/A Kowhai Roofs Manawatu, since 2018.

Owner Gwil Hughes, originally from the UK, brings over 30 years of roofing experience. His career began working on large-scale commercial projects, including buildings more than 10 stories high.

​

In 2012, Gwil and his wife Kelly joined the Kowhai network, starting with the Kapiti franchise before expanding into Taupo and Manawatu. Today, they lead a team of 15 dedicated professionals, all working full-time and committed to delivering exceptional results.

​

Their strong focus on quality and safety is evident in every job. They are proud members of HazardCo, hold Licensed Building Practitioner status, and have been part of the Roofing Association of New Zealand since 2011.
